Library Policies & Procedures
The Library follows a five day rotation schedule. Students visit the library ~8-10 days with their class. Students should return their books to the library on their scheduled library day. Other check-out times may be available – check at the Circulation Desk.
3rd, 4th & 5th graders are allowed 2 books. Kinder, 1st & 2nd graders are allowed to check out 1 books.
Students are reminded that the books they get from the library are borrowed. Books need to be returned in good condition and in a timely fashion. There are two times when a student will need to pay for a book – when it is lost or when it is damaged beyond repair. Payment for lost or damaged books will be handled in the library. Please provide exact change. We cannot accept checks or credit cards. Students will not receive reports cards if library accounts are not cleared. “Lost” library materials must be returned in a timely fashion to generate a refund. A paid library fine becomes nonrefundable after 90 days from date “lost”.
